Vision Service Plan HQ5 / 2013-14
After a thorough evaluation of the furniture solutions, move coordination and change management strategy, VSP selected United Corporate Furnishings for the new Tech Center.
In 2013 Vision Service Plan expanded their Rancho Cordova Headquarters by purchasing a 5th building adjacent to their existing four buildings to serve as their dedicated Tech Center. After a thorough evaluation of the furniture solutions, move coordination and change management strategy, VSP selected United Corporate Furnishings for the new Tech Center.
Because VSP had not changed their campus interiors in many years, the leaders of the Tech Division saw this 5th building as a stand-out opportunity to drive change within this key group and increase innovation. They agreed that the interior space itself could be an instrumental tool in helping to change the culture of the division and company at large.
Working with Stantec locally in Sacramento, UCF helped to provide the full interior furnishings for the building as well as additional accessories and custom applications. In addition, UCF provided all of the Move Coordination services for VSP. Steelcase assisted VSP with a full change-management palette of services that allowed them to implement such a radical shift to their corporate culture.
UCF provided a complete palette of Steelcase wood casegoods, administrative stations and ergonomic seating as well as all of the collaborative meeting spaces and common space furniture. Even trash receptacles, clocks and other accessories. UCF provided durable products and finishes in an aesthetic that matches the architecture of the building and will withstand the wear and tear of a public facility for many years to come.Read More
