The Project:

Yolo County Superior Court is the 3rd courthouse for UCF. Project design and planning started back in 2013 with the final installation the summer of 2015. This state-of-the-art courthouse, located in downtown Woodland, was designed by Dreyfuss & Blackford Architects. This project was new-build construction from the ground up. UCF was the primary partner to furnish all of the court rooms, judicial chambers, administrative areas and all public space areas.

The Goal:

Providing this community with a state-of-the-art court facility that was secure and safe for all citizens was the primary concern for the JCC. Great attention was paid to the products and solutions selected for this building that would be the best value for the community and tax dollars at work!

The Solution:

UCF provided a complete palette of Steelcase wood casegoods, administrative stations and ergonomic seating as well as all of the collaborative meeting spaces and common space furniture. Even trash receptacles, clocks and other accessories. UCF provided durable products and finishes in an aesthetic that matches the architecture of the building and will withstand the wear and tear of a public facility for many years to come.
